The Dates That Force the Decision
CSU's spring finals run May 10–13, 2027, with commencement on May 14 and 15. Fall classes start August 24 in 2026 and August 23 in 2027.

What a Summer Actually Costs
Take the monthly price of the size you want, multiply by the number of months you need it, and add tax.
There's no administrative fee and no security deposit, so that's the whole arithmetic. If you're the parent paying for it, there's nothing else coming.
Between Leases
If your lease ends before the next one starts, you don't need to find a friend's garage for the gap. Rent a unit for the stretch you need it.
Getting It There and Getting Back In
We're at 3021 E Mulberry St, Fort Collins, CO 80524, on the north side of East Mulberry between Timberline Road and I-25. East Mulberry is Colorado Highway 14, which connects I-25 with central Fort Collins — from the interstate it's Exit 269, then west.
Units are ground floor with drive-up access, so you park at the door and carry things straight in. U-Haul trucks and trailers are rented from this same lot if you need something bigger than a car for move-out day.
Tenant gate access runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which matters when you're loading around a finals schedule rather than an office schedule.
For Parents
The property is fenced and gated with security cameras on site. Units are rented online — you can complete the whole thing without being in Fort Collins. There's no admin fee and no security deposit, so the checkout total is the unit rent plus applicable tax.
